Ahmed Alom is a pianist, composer, and conductor noted for crossing stylistic boundaries between composed repertoire and improvisation. His debut album Exilio (2023) explores themes of displacement, and he received a Latin Grammy nomination as a performer and arranger. He became the youngest Artistic Director of the Washington Square Music Festival in 2024 and has performed as a soloist with major orchestras and taught masterclasses at leading conservatories.
