One of today’s most influential voices in choral conducting, Kent Hatteberg brings an outstanding level of musicianship to the Louisville Chamber Choir. As artistic director, Dr. Hatteberg has assembled some of the finest artists in the Louisville area to form a choral ensemble dedicated to engaging audiences with world-class musicianship and performance of choral music.
Dr. Hatteberg is Director of Choral Activities at the University of Louisville, where he directs the Collegiate Chorale and Cardinal Singers and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in conducting, choral literature, and choral techniques. He serves as Chorus Master for the Louisville Orchestra, where he conducts annual performances of Handel’s Messiah with the Louisville Chamber Choir and regularly assembles and prepares choral ensembles for performances. He is active nationally and internationally as a guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator, most recently in Korea, Thailand, Poland, the Philippines, China, Hungary, Austria, Spain, and the United States.
