Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center is a large outdoor event site in South Louisville that hosts flagship multi-day festivals Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life, both of which moved here in 2019. On the KEC campus near Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport and adjacent to Kentucky Kingdom, the grounds have undergone site expansions and improvements to support large-scale festival operations. Annual events routinely draw hundreds of thousands of attendees over multiple days.

Getting there

Parking

On-site paid parking is provided by the Kentucky Exposition Center within walking distance of the grounds, with reserved Gold/Silver options and general Purple lots; typical entry is via Gates 2, 4, or 6 and advance purchase is handled through ParkMobile.

Public transit

During festival periods, TARC operates special service from downtown (PARC garage) via Route 2 to Phillips Lane near Gate 1, with return service from Crittenden Drive near Gate 4.
