Magnolia Bar, known locally as Mag Bar, is a long-running Old Louisville dive and music room established in 1962. It’s known for cheap drinks, a no-frills vibe, and frequent punk/metal/indie shows alongside karaoke and trivia; the venue also hosts occasional all-ages events. Set at S 2nd St and Magnolia Ave near Central Park, it’s a neighborhood hangout within walking distance of other Old Louisville pubs and eateries.
